Manas

manas.uyAssisted living for older adults

Manas is an assisted living home for older adults in Carrasco Sur, Montevideo. We have designed its printed pieces since 2017, and in 2026 we rebuilt its website: its own, self-managed and easy to read on any screen.

The old site was a four-page template. The sentence that defines the home was inside a photo: it could not be read on a phone and search engines could not see it. The colors came from the template, not from the brand. It had to be rebuilt without changing a single word of the content.

We brought everything together on a single page, following the order of the brochure we designed in 2019: who it is for, what we offer, services and hospitality. The shape comes from the logo: the photo inside a circle with a ring that goes from violet to turquoise, like the mandala, and each of the six activity spaces takes a color from that gradient. And it is self-managed: Manas updates texts and photos from its own panel, without touching code.

The site went live on October 13, 2026, and the next day it scored 100 on the four ratings Google uses to measure a site on mobile: the home page loads in 1.7 seconds and weighs 209 KB. Old addresses lead to their section, so no link was lost.
